Pay an entry fee

Some campaigns and competitions charge an entry fee. You pay when you register.

How to pay

1. Join as usual; see Join with a code or QR code.
2. If there is a fee, you see Deltakeravgift (Entry fee) with the amount. Tap the payment button.
3. Pay by card on the payment page, which opens in the browser.
4. After payment, return to RIVL. Check that your registration is confirmed.

Who do you pay?

You pay the organiser. RIVL handles the payment through Stripe. Whether Stripe emails you a receipt depends on the organiser’s setup.

If you do not get a place

If RIVL cannot give you a place after you have paid, RIVL automatically starts a refund. The refund may be pending or fail. Contact help if your registration or refund remains unresolved. Otherwise, the organiser decides whether you get your money back if you cannot participate.

Payment interrupted or registration unconfirmed

Open the same activity with the same RIVL account and check both registration and payment before trying again. A charge or receipt alone does not confirm a place. If payment was interrupted and the registration is still unpaid, follow the payment action shown for that registration. If you were charged without confirmed registration, do not pay again; contact the organiser or support@getrivl.app with the activity, time and payment reference. Include any visible refund status. Do not send card numbers, one-time codes or a full bank statement.
