Create a RIVL account

You create your RIVL account with Vipps or MobilePay. This lets RIVL verify that the account is yours and that you are at least 18 years old.

In the app

1. Tap Create account.
2. Select your country under Choose country. In Norway and Sweden you register with Vipps; in Denmark and Finland you use MobilePay.
3. Tick the box to accept RIVL’s terms and privacy policy.
4. Tap Continue with Vipps or Continue with MobilePay and finish with Vipps or MobilePay.

After registration, you see the privacy screen, where you tap Jeg godtar og fortsetter (I accept and continue), and a short introduction. You also receive a separate question about helping us improve RIVL, where you can choose Godta (Accept) or Ikke nå (Not now).

On getrivl.app

Registration works the same way: select your country, tick the box and select Continue with Vipps or Continue with MobilePay.

Afterwards

Once your account is created, you log in with your email address. See Log in to RIVL.

When registration stops

Choose the country that applies to you. If its registration method is missing or cannot be confirmed, follow the message and contact support@getrivl.app if you cannot continue; do not choose the wrong country as a workaround. After interrupted authorisation, reopen registration and use the same identity account. If registration already gave a confirmation, try normal sign-in before starting again. For an error, tell support the country, app/web, time and visible message. Do not send identity documents, passwords or one-time codes.
