Invitations, roles and handing over responsibility

Invite the right person and read the outcome
On the web under Medlemmer og tilganger, select the person and base role, use Opprett invitasjon, then Send e-post til or Kopier lenke. Creation is not sending or accepted membership, and an organisation invitation does not enrol anyone in an activity. The recipient must use the right account and accept. For the wrong account, switch accounts. For an expired, withdrawn or changed invitation, ask a currently authorised sender for a new one; the same applies if the sender lost access. Check the member list after acceptance. Sending again after an uncertain result may produce duplicate emails.
Base role and finance are separate
Owner, administrator and member are base roles. Only the owner grants or removes separate finance access, including through Gi økonomi. Administrator does not automatically include finance; member does not grant organiser operations. An accountant can have finance without administrator status, but this does not grant participant inboxes, sensitive answers or health information. After changing access, check both the base role and finance; changing one does not replace the other. If an action is missing, ask the owner to check that specific permission instead of granting unnecessary administrator access.
Transfer responsibility before anyone leaves
Removing membership ends organisation and delegated event access, not the person’s RIVL account. An owner must explicitly transfer ownership to an existing member first. The last event manager must be replaced before removal. If permissions changed concurrently, reload access and reconsider the action. If a save result is unknown, read membership and responsibility back before retrying the same operation; do not launch conflicting changes. Afterwards, verify the new owner or event manager and the removed membership.
