Find races, suggest a race and use it as a Coach goal

Find the right catalog and edition

Open the race/competition catalog. External races and public RIVL competitions are separate catalog sections. Private group competitions and QR invitations are not catalog results: use their invitation/code in participant view.

If a race is missing, check search, sport, date/period, country/region and any location filter. Broaden or remove relevant filters. A read error does not prove a race is absent; reload the list. Open the correct year's edition and distance. Read the source, last-checked date and any provisional-date notice. For a mismatch, use the organiser's official information to clarify dates/entry and send the catalog item and official link to support@getrivl.app. Do not assume real-time catalog status.

A Coach goal is not external entry

Use the official registration link to enter with the organiser. Add to Coach is separate. Select the correct edition/distance, priority and finish/time target where offered; review and confirm. Wait for the goal and calendar-event receipt. It does not confirm a start place or payment with the organiser, and the training plan is unchanged.

For a read error, use the offered retry for the same goal and check its receipt before making a new selection. If the source changed, refresh the race and confirm the updated selection. If the account changed, reopen the race with the right account. Follow the screen's guidance for subscription/consent or an unavailable source; do not retry blindly.

Undo a catalog goal

On web, the goal receipt may offer Undo Coach goal. Use it for that specific goal and calendar event, then wait for the receipt confirming they were undone. It does not undo an entire Coach plan or cancel official race entry.

If the outcome is uncertain, use the same undo attempt when offered. If Coach content changed later or undo is unavailable, the old request cannot overwrite newer content. Check your current goal/calendar; contact support with the race, visible status and any receipt ID if you cannot establish the outcome. After account or source changes, reopen the updated race with the correct account before continuing.

Suggest a missing external race

In the app catalog, choose the propose/create entry and Suggest an external event. Enter the organiser's own HTTPS page for this year's edition and an optional short note without personal data. Press Send suggestion. Wait for received confirmation and a receipt ID; a button press does not confirm receipt.

Read Your suggestions and refresh status: Awaiting review, Published, Not listed and Withdrawn mean different things. A suggestion is neither entry nor a promise of publication or review time. A pending suggestion may offer withdrawal; confirm and check the new status. If withdrawal is unconfirmed, refresh before retrying. For a normal confirmation error, keep the same attempt offered by the screen. For a conflict, refresh and check content before a new suggestion.
