Find an imported activity and its details

This is supplementary troubleshooting. Button names may vary by language; Norwegian names are quoted where still used. Follow the on-screen status rather than assumptions about the account.

Watch, service and RIVL are separate steps

First check the activity exists in Garmin Connect or Strava, not only on the watch. If present, check the linked account and refresh RIVL history. If missing at the service, complete watch sync there first. A RIVL activity sent to Strava is not automatically forwarded to Garmin; do not expect that chain or create multiple copies.

Imported does not mean counted

Open the campaign and check date, activity type, minimum duration, daily cap and membership. On the web My activities shows why an activity does not count. Submitted may await moderation; excluded and flagged differ. Do not change dates or duplicate the activity for points. Ask the organiser to check that entry if the reason is missing. Flagged does not automatically mean disqualified; with moderation, approved/flagged count while submitted waits.

One activity from two services

Compare date, start time, sport and duration before deleting anything. Multiple sources can describe one physical activity that RIVL combines. Do not log manually just because one row is shown. For duplicate rows or incorrect merging, report time and source names without GPS/health files; keep the entries until clarified.

Coach matching and tests

Find the imported activity and planned workout separately. Check date/sport; do not use feedback to force a match. Several possible planned workouts can make matching ambiguous. FTP/test recognition needs protocol and lap evidence, not roughly matching duration. Report both workout names and date to RIVL; do not edit measurements to fit the test.

Activity present, curves or zones missing

Open the activity at its source and check whether those details exist there. Check read permissions before requesting import again. Activity and heart-rate/GPS/power details arrive separately; missing curves do not mean a lost workout. Strava zones may be access-limited. Do not buy a subscription or disconnect because a graph is empty; report the missing detail and error status.

Deleted activity does not return

Check recently deleted and its restore deadline first. Sync may intentionally skip an activity you deleted in RIVL; it may still exist at the service. Use supported restoration if available. Do not alter source IDs or import copies to bypass deletion. Ask for clarification if source and RIVL outcomes differ unexpectedly.

If unresolved, contact support@getrivl.app with surface, app version, time and visible error. Do not send sign-in codes, identity documents or full health/GPS files in an ordinary request.
