What counts in a campaign?
Last checked 30 September 2026
Some buttons in this part of RIVL are only in Norwegian so far. They are written here as they appear.
The organiser sets the rules for each campaign. These decide whether a session counts:
- Activity types: only the session types the campaign accepts count.
- Minimum duration: a session shorter than the campaign's minimum does not count. It is marked For kort økt (session too short).
- Maximum per day: some campaigns only count a certain number of sessions per day. The ones registered first count. The rest are marked Daglig maks nådd (daily maximum reached).
- Approval: in some campaigns the organiser has to approve the sessions. Until then, getrivl.app shows Venter på godkjenning (awaiting approval).
The same session from several services
If the same session has come in from, for example, both Garmin and Strava, it only counts once. On getrivl.app the other one is marked Dublett fra treningskobling (duplicate from a training connection).
Where do I see why a session does not count?
When you register a session yourself, the app tells you straight away if it does not count, and why. On getrivl.app, open the campaign and go to Mine økter (my sessions). The reason is shown next to each session that does not count.
Short sessions in the training log
The rule that sessions under 5 minutes do not count towards training load does not apply to campaigns. In a campaign, the campaign's own minimum duration applies.
