Troubleshoot Coach reports, history and training data

Last checked 15 October 2026

Start with the correct account, date and screen. A missing report, locked history and missing campaign points are different problems.

The weekly report is missing or shows the wrong week

Open the weekly report from Coach and select the completed calendar week. On the website, open the report. An active plan is not a general requirement. Check valid Coach access and the week dates; the current week is not a completed report.

Retry a failed read. If the profile time zone is missing or invalid, follow the profile message and reload the report. If no correction is available, contact support with the message and expected week; do not change session dates. If report generation is offered, use it and follow its status. That option is not available for every week or state. Follow the same report while processing rather than making repeated requests. Report the selected week and status if the problem persists.

Weekly totals appear without Coach text

Read the notice above the figures. A report can contain training data without a finished Coach assessment or all daily details. If the assessment is unavailable for that week, reimporting or creating a plan will not fix it. Use the figures within the stated limits. Report the week and notice if the figures are also wrong or reading fails. Missing analysis is not zero training.

History is empty

Open history from Coach/Training. Clear search, widen the period and select all activity types before concluding a session is missing. Load more sessions if offered. Retry a failed read. For locked Coach history, first confirm your connection and access; locked does not mean deleted.

If a session exists in Garmin/Strava but not RIVL, check the connection and session date using training services. Do not repeatedly import or log it before checking other history selections.

Feedback is saved but the session looks incomplete

Open that session and check its date, name and saved status. Feedback, activity import, completion and matching to a planned session are separate facts. On the website, saving feedback and completing a session are different actions when displayed. Complete only a session you actually performed, then check the result. After a save error, reopen the same session before resubmitting feedback. Tell support which session and which part was confirmed; do not create another activity as a workaround.

A session can appear in Coach without counting in a campaign. Open the campaign, check its rules and activity status, and read What counts?. Do not change Coach feedback to obtain campaign points.

Form, zones, thresholds and records

In the app, open the capacity card on Training for the form data. For threshold values, open Coach settings and the thresholds/zones entry. Open records from the Training menu. On the website, use the corresponding available Coach cards; if the same entry is absent, report the platform instead of editing figures elsewhere.

Check the card's date, sport and data basis. CTL describes long-term load, ATL recent load and TSB their difference. ACWR compares shorter and longer load windows. These are calculated training context, not a diagnosis or an instruction to train harder.

FTP, threshold pace and threshold heart rate have different units and sources. Check source and measurement date before editing. An estimate is not a completed test. Retry a failed read rather than replacing a value with a guess. After an edit, check the confirmation and active value. Records depend on available, comparable data; missing coverage does not mean you have never performed better.

For personal training or weight advice, open the Coach conversation. You can separately report a missing session to product support. An import error does not itself explain a weight or health change. Include only the date, screen, data source and displayed error in the support case.
