Run the competition as training

The buttons quoted here currently use Norwegian text in this part of RIVL. They are written as they appear.

Use Kjør som trening to practise the exercises without an official attempt. A saved training session does not replace a competition result.

Steps

1. Open the competition in the app with the right account and a selected class. Tap Kjør som trening if shown.
2. You reach the ready screen. This entry skips the competition preparation checklist; it does not start the timer directly.
3. Tap Start treningsøkt. The countdown starts, then the first exercise and timing begin.
4. Use Hold inne — Fullfør øvelse after each finished exercise. Follow the setup for rest and the next exercise.
5. On the finish screen, tap Lagre som trening. Check the save message before leaving. The competition-result button is not shown in this mode.

This entry does not check the competition window in the same way as official start. It may still be missing, for example when the competition surface is no longer available to you. It cannot bypass the rules for an official attempt.

Ending before all exercises are done

After completing at least one segment, Avbryt økt offers Fortsett, Forkast or Lagre og avslutt in training mode. Saving and ending takes you to the finish screen, where you still need to save as training. Before any segment is completed, the ordinary abort confirmation applies.

This applies to training. Do not expect the same partial save or a general pause function in an official attempt. See Timing, rest and interruptions.

Platform and help

This execution happens in the app. Web is not an alternative training or competition timer. Team and companion flows need separate instructions.

If the button is missing or saving fails, contact support with the competition, class, app version, completed segments and exact message. A save failure differs from a later sync failure; do not record the same session again until its save status is clear.
