Validation, results and another attempt

Last checked 16 October 2026

The buttons quoted here currently use Norwegian text in this part of RIVL. They are written as they appear.

A saved attempt, a validated result and a visible placement are different things. First check that submission is confirmed.

The result awaits validation

When validation is required, a pending attempt does not count as a qualifying leaderboard result. Venter validering does not mean you should perform the exercises again.

  1. Open the saved session details in the app and find validation.
  2. If Vis QR-kode appears for external validation, show it to a companion or judge who can validate the execution. They follow the validation screen, confirm the applicable requirements and use Signer validering. This guide does not cover companion pairing.
  3. If Bekreft gjennomføring appears instead, follow the identity confirmation shown. This is another branch; do not use it to bypass external validation.
  4. If unable to validate now, use Send melding til arrangør when shown. Explain the session and the obstacle. Look for an actual status change or reply; showing a QR code does not prove anyone signed.

The result is rejected

Read messages and the organiser's reason on the competition page or in session details. In a competition requiring validation, a rejected attempt does not count as a validated result. A general rule does not explain why your specific attempt was rejected.

Ask the organiser to clarify a missing or unclear reason. Support must distinguish saving failure, pending validation and actual rejection, and cannot promise to change your time or approve the result. Do not share medical details to obtain a technical explanation.

Standings are empty or hidden

Open Resultatliste in the app or the results section on getrivl.app. The organiser may hide standings until the competition ends. Your own result status may remain available while placement and other people's times are hidden. A missing placement does not automatically mean your attempt is gone.

Distinguish a hidden or empty list from a loading error. On web, Kunne ikke hente en komplett resultatliste. means fetching failed; use Prøv igjen. Ingen tilgjengelig resultatliste. alone does not prove nobody finished. Give the exact message when seeking help. Placement is not a prize/payment receipt; see Prizes and draws.

Request another individual attempt

  1. In the app, open Mer when available on the competition page and choose Be om nytt forsøk. On web, Be om nytt forsøk may appear directly on the competition page.
  2. For a technical failure, choose Teknisk problem. Briefly describe where it stopped, the time and any message. Annet requires an explanation.
  3. Tap Send forespørsel and check the request was recorded. A pending request is not approval for another attempt.
  4. Read the organiser's reply. After approval, start must still be available within the competition window. After denial, further requests are blocked for this competition.

This entry is limited to individual participants with a completed attempt and an open competition window. It is unavailable if you left or were removed, have a pending request or received a denial. An interruption without a saved completed attempt therefore does not necessarily expose this button. Contact the organiser if missing; do not use the team flow as a workaround.

An unresolved case

Contact support with the competition, class, app/web, app version, session/time and exact status or error. A limited lookup concerns your own enrollment, received attempt, validation status, visibility rule and request. Ask for human help if unresolved and include replies and checks actually performed. Support provides no medical assessment or automatic right to another attempt.
